New Wealden Panel

Wealden have contracted SMSR to recruit a new Wealden Panel. SMSR will be telephoning a sample of Wealden residents during November and December 2008. The panel will help to inform decisions about the Council's services.

The Place Survey in Wealden

The Place Survey gives 3,000 Wealden residents, who have been selected at random, the chance to put forward their views about public services and the quality of life in their local area.

Local Development Framework - Issues & Options

The Core Strategy Issues and Options consultation has now closed. The Council is endeavouring to make all representations available to view online as quickly as possible.

Satisfaction with the Planning Service - Neighbouring Residents

We asked 300 people, who had been consulted about a neighbouring development, what they thought of the service they received.

Planning Surgeries – Customer Satisfaction Survey

Guidance on the Planning system can be obtained through Planning surgeries which are held weekly in Crowborough and Hailsham/Polegate. Appointments last for 30 minutes and need to be pre-booked. For more details on this service go to the section ‘Do I need Planning Permission?

Customer Services Survey

We conducted the first in a rolling programme of surveys in March 07 asking customers a number of questions about the quality of face to face service we provide, the facilities offered and the Community Help Points (receptions) generally in both Crowborough and Hailsham.

BT proposal to remove public telephone kiosks

You may be aware of BT's proposals to remove a proportion of public telephone kiosks across the country. BT have to follow a set procedure before they can remove any telephone kiosk at a given site.

Satisfaction with the Planning Service - Applicants and Agents

Every three months we survey a sample of 100 Applicants and Agents who have had a planning application determined within that period.
