| Coloured print is difficult to read on the annual Electoral Registration Forms. | We have ensured that all the print is in black and colour only used as background. Since doing this we have not received any more complaints on this matter. |
| Election Agents need to know the date that the Notice of Election was published. Please could it be on our website. | We have added the date on to the Elections Results page and it is left there until after the deadline for receipt of Election Expense forms. |
| Please can we request a postal vote form when confirming our annual registration via the internet. | We have allowed this since the annual canvass in 2008. |

Agreed - again, we have done this since 2008. |

Why were there errors found in January and February?
After the annual canvass is over and the new register has been published, January-February is when we go through and triple-check all the forms from the annual canvass to make sure they have been processed correctly. With some thirty-seven thousand forms coming back by post, it's inevitable that there will be a few mistakes; where errors are found, they are corrected immediately and the electors notified.
Registration Feedback Survey 2009
Those electors who register by telephone or internet during the annual canvass are given the opportunity to complete a short feedback survey. In addition to questions about the registration service, they are also asked about their level of satisfaction with the service provided by the Electoral Services Department at Wealden.
In 2009, just over two thousand households completed the survey; of those, 91% said they were quite or very satisfied with the quality of our service, with 74% saying they were very satisfied (a 9% improvement since 2008). The remaining 9% said they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied.

Elector Survey 2010
In the interests of improving our service to electors we wrote to 765 randomly selected electors across the Wealden constituency (1% of the eligible 2010 electorate), asking them to complete a short survey about their experiences on polling day, the voting process, etc. You can view the results of this survey, and Electoral Services' responses to the issues raised, here:

Candidates' and Agents' Survey 2010
Surveys were sent to each of the five candidates who stood for election in the Wealden constituency, and to their election agents. The survey asked respondents for comments on various aspects of the administration of the election.
