Council Land Policy

The Council Land Policy restricts the use of Council land and property for the purposes of funfairs, shows and circuses.

All Council leases restrict the use of Council property for political purpose which includes posters in support of any political party.

The Council does not own any land suitable for metal detecting and has a general policy restricting the use of its land for this purpose.

In 2003/4 the Council passed a policy restricting the use of any land in its ownership for the growth of Genetically Modified crops.
