Wealden Events

Presenting a unique evening's entertainment, a magnificent military tattoo featuring five of Britain's top military bands on parade, plus a stirring medley of epic movie themes played by our 40 piece orchestra. The orchestra will also accompany classical quartet Blake, and star soprano Hayley Westenra performing some of their most captivating songs. The entertainment culminates in a spectacular firework and laser finale and torchlight procession. The showground opens at 1pm with a variety of exhibitions and side shows. During the afternoon, take the option of bringing your picnic or enjoy a range of delicious food and drink on sale. An array of gleaming classic cars and historic military vehicles will be on display, and you will have the opportunity to meet wildlife artist David Shepherd and see some of his paintings up close and personal, see the hilarious Real Dad's Army and hear the Swingtime Sweethearts.
