Bank Holidays

Monday collections

No collections will take place on Bank Holiday Mondays. If your refuse or recycling is normally collected on a monday it will be collected instead on the saturday before the holiday period. Please refer to your recycling calendar for further details.

Good Friday collections

In kerbside recycling areas - collections will take place as normal on this day. Please refer to your calendar for further details.

Weekly refuse collection areas (rural areas) - no collections will take place on Good Friday. A reasonable amount of extra bags will be taken on the following Friday's collection.

You can also take additional waste to East Sussex County Council's Household Waste Recycling Sites which are available for disposal of surplus refuse.
