Expansion of CROWN Caddy Scheme to Rural Areas
We are extending our existing CROWN Caddy kerbside collection service to rural areas of the District throughout 2010 in three phases. The following map gives an approximate idea as to what areas are in what phase. If you click on the phase links below, you will get a more detailed description of exactly which roads and areas will be in which phase. You can also find out more about the chronology of events that form the expansion process.

Phase One
Properties in the first phase commenced their collections scheme at the beginning of March, and this service is proving to be a success. Thank you to all the residents concerned for their participation.
Phase Two
Properties in the second phase will receive a leaflet called 'Coming Soon' (pdf 416kB) in the first week of June prior to the commencement of the scheme. This will give you further details about the materials we will be collecting and public meetings where we will be at a local venue to meet and discuss this scheme with you. We can also answer any questions you may have and give advice on waste reduction techniques such as home composting and real nappies for example.
